Such a beautiful old structure. We crossed it several times just for the view. It was one of the prettiest bridges we saw along the Oregon coast.

Whether crossing north or south, this bridge does not disappoint. While we’ve crossed many times, I have to say our last crossing was, by far, our finest. Even though it was under construction, its transitions were as smooth as ever. It’s pavement was just as...More

Be sure to come in to old town Florence to get a great view of the bridge. They have been working on it for quite a while but it's fun to see the progress.

Example of WPA infrastructure project. One of several along route 101. I don't approve of deficit spending in general, but these bridges are an exception.

One of many of the beautiful bridges you take over the waterways on 101. I'm impressed with the concrete work - craftsmanship and design of the ornamental - which is being redone even today ! Very nice to see that !

This bridge is still pretty amazing even though it is undergoing some rehab right now. Our hotel was overlooking the river, and the bridge.
