From the 1890's the family has been growing apples, pears, and cherries in the Hood River Valley. Fox-Tail began selling hard cider in the spring of 2013. With dozens of hard cider products we were pleased to announce the next phase of Fox-Tail. Our Distillery!...More

We stopped just after they opened on a Saturday and were a bit disappointed. The person working that day was not overly friendly. It was almost as if we were intruding on her time. We ordered the 10 cider flight and discovered there was only...More

It was a long, cold day, I wasn't expecting it so I was under-dressed and I needed that hard cider to relax my day. I was told that this place made a great hard cider, and that definitely turned out to be the truth. I...More

Disappointed but the tasting we had. Some of the ciders tasted like medicine to me. Maybe just was not for me. Easy stop on the fruit loop right by a fruit stand. Good service. Very cute shot glasses for souvenir.

This was a very pleasant stop right next to the highway. Their taster flight was ten different ciders! Plenty of seating. Our server was very helpful, friendly and patient with our many questions. Thank you. I hope to be back.

We enjoyed our time at Fox Tail. With ten ciders in the flight, it took us awhile to finish them. It's worth the effort. We had a great view from the outside seating area. There is plenty of seating inside as well. There is a...More

Many wineries to see while in Mt Hood but if you're game for something different try this cidery. It's a cute, low key establishment that looks like a legit farm stand from the road. My friend and I got the 10 drink flight of the...More

If you're at all interested in hard cider, this is the place. They offer tasting flights of 5 or 10, all described on the menu. Growlers of any variety available for purchase. Enlightening and tasty!
