About
Old Perpetual is the only geyser in the Pacific Northwest. It is located at Hunters hot springs resort where you can soak in a natural hotspring, sit by the fire or the geyser depending on the weather and enjoy a microbrew and a pizza.

Not really a whole lot to see but pretty fascinating that it does blow over and over again. Certainly more reliable than Old Faithful

You’re in business at most times during the year watching the geyser spew every 1-3 minutes, especially in the winter. Come summer, you may be straight out of luck as it’s quiet, so don’t be disappointed. Depending on timing, you can see the geyser shoot...More

No charge, can park quite close, erupts frequently & regularly. Not Old Faithful, of course (been there, done that), but don't have to drive to Yellowstone, pay an entry fee, fight with crowds, and wait. Was there in May 2017 and it erupted for 15...More

When we were there it was in action every few minutes. Not very exciting but there seemed to be little else to do in town.

It is a working geyser it was very cold but still worked even when everything was iced over. Wish we could have walked out to it but the snow prevented us from doing the walk.Still enjoyable to see.

Since Lakeview does not seem to push this gyser as a tourist attraction, I doubt it even works anymore...it didn't erupt when we were there. It's located right outside Hunter's Hot Springs Resort in the front of the place.

Almost didn't get to see it go off. We waited and then got back into our vehicle to leave and it went off. Amazing!

This hotspring seems to almost be dying, depending on the moisture content of the year, it rarely goes off. The actual facilities are quite filthy. The pool can be relaxing, however, if you are not lucky, you may find a group of obese nudists in...More

Due to the low water table, the frequency was between 10-14 minutes. Still, was neat to see when it went off and watching the various birds in between was cute. Even saw a Mama duck with a whole train of ducklings behind her.
