Just a step off of the highway is a great place to see the history of life a hundred years ago. Lots of what is it items with a little book to give you a free guided answers through the place. It is well worth your time to stretch you legs. It has two very clean bathrooms with an elevator... More

Closes at 5 on a Saturday, we got there at 445. Was told to jog through to see everything. Loved all of the old pictures and items from Pixie Kitchen

If you get tired of fighting the windy beaches, this is a good family stop. Plus, some of the best glass art at very good prices can be found right next door at Flanigan's Glass Gallery.

Our family really enjoyed this county museum. It's not the Smithsonian, but it is not supposed to be. It has fantastic local history. A great thing to do for any age.

A good spot to drop by and view the history and developement of the Lincoln City area. Once five or more communities. Now one great city. This museum starts at the beginning and brings you up to present. The museum occupies a former firehall that then served as the city hall. It has now been repruposed as a museum.

Lived in the area in the '60's, then returned to the museum last year. Remembered the Pixie Kitchen, which is "reconstructed" in the museum. Lots of history, very well done!
