Beautiful lake, great fishing! Loved the hot showers at Diamond Lake Campground. Southside pizza was delicious & super genetpis portions on their ice cream offerings! Only downfall, the grocery at the resort is outrageously priced, unless it's an emergency I'd recommend trekking into Chemult.

Our friends from Portland had always wanted to stay at this RV park so we made a special trip to check it out since we all had the day off. So we had two cars with our familys and when we pulled in I noticed...More

We loved this place for the beautifull views and the peace and quiet. Several people had a boat but the noise never bothered us.

Beautiful 11mile bicycle loop around lake. Gorgeous in fall. Trail wanders through the campgrounds, then takes off either close to lake or slightly up hill. Slight elevation gain and loss.

We drove from Roseburg and first enjoyed the drive on 138 especially from the Swiftwater park. We stopped at the lake in the beginning of the afternoon [and had to go back to rose burg for the night] so we did not have much time....More

We stabled our horses at the Diamond Lake Corrals and camped at Diamond Lake Campground. We had a great time swimming, biking, and fishing (didn't catch anything though) and the camping was good despite no camp fires allowed and decreased air quality. We went to...More

Terrific winter-time destination! Snow machines available for rent at a fair price and they are all fairly new machines! The staff are terrific! Also a great place to go to get out of the summer heat! The restaurant is good too!

Other reviewers have correctly noted that Diamond Lake has had its ups and downs. But this lake is back, for fishing. We had not gone for a couple of years because the fish were small and not plentiful. However, this June, we went three times...More

I love going to that lake every now and then, it is a great to view, clean air, calming place. I wish I do not live too far from it. I wish I could live next to it. I could have gone every day there.

Gorgeous lake but - in May - there were so many midges you couldn't go outside. We didn't see them in any other place in Oregon

Began fishing Diamond back in the 50's, where it was one of the two best lakes in Oregon for trout. The fishing has cycled through many ups and downs, and a boat is almost a necessity, unless you know where to access the deeper water...More
