Every Sunday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. this place hosts a jam session that specializes in classic Rock and Roll. The house band will play the first and last set, but they invite local artists to join in onstage. It is a super opportunity...More

Awesome time at this little bar with good beer on tap, slot machines, and live music. Dropped in on a Saturday and had a beer, listened to a Johnny Cash tribute band, and chilled for a while. Very nice.

It only looks scary. The folks here are friendly and they have an amazing bartender named Jenny Jo. The Sunday Jam is WAAAY too loud for me but Doctor Babski Karaoke is fun on Friday nights. There are a couple of locals named Karly and...More

I have lived in Newport for 3 years and love the live rock n roll music at the 1809 Bay Haven Inn. A dog-friendly bar with a smoking yard out back. Very local clientele, mostly fishermen. Don't come here for the food, just the alcohol...More

Stopped here waiting for a restaurant to open and was greeted by a very sweet Golden Retriever. Staff is very friendly. Beer is cold! If your looking for a relaxing environment to have a couple drinks this is your place!

I can picture this place being pretty cool when it's packed with a mix of tourists, locals and music. However, do not go there looking for a place to grab a drink on the week night. It's empty, dark and full of the terrible smells...More

Every tourist town -- like Newport, Oregon -- needs one little bar where guys can hang out while their wives shop at the local gift stores. This is that place -- an old, locals dive that caters to some very interesting characters. Best of all,...More
