Some friends stopped in from the midwest. To them, it was raining. So with three pre-teens in tow, we hauled them to OMSI-- the ultimate goto with kids. The worst part was trying to get the kids out of there. Since when does a 12-year...More

I very rarely pass up the chance to go to any kind of museum while traveling, and this is the type of place that I really lamented not having my children with me. It was not as big or filled with activities as other science...More

I don't recall it being so kid oriented but it appears it is. That said though, still a fun place to visit and the roaming King Tut exhibit was well done in my opinion. Always happy to visit OMSI.

This is a children's science museum.... did not see a whole lot of interest to adults. The USS Blueback (diesel attack submarine) moored in the adjacent Columbia River is worth a visit.

Fantastic experience with interactive problem solving games for the whole family. Great to see our four year old wrapping his mind around topics like buoyancy and the concept of flooding. Highly recommended!

We went on Sunday afternoon and it seemed we needed additional tickets for everything we wanted to see. And the King Tut tickets were sold out. Seems one has to plan days in advance!

My girlfriend and I decided to go to the submarine after seeing it from the other side of the river. I normally don’t go to museums but this one was definitely worth it. It’s a nice tour of USS blueback, but if you really want...More

Not cheap! Cost depends on which of many options (movies, submarine, special exhibits,...) you choose.
