Great place to walk around the waterfront! The city fair is held here, bluesfest, brewfest and Saturday Market! Lots of fountains and great views of the water. I grab lunch from a food cart and just walk down here to eat my lunch.

The Waterfront Park is the site of the annual three day Portland Blues Festival held every July. Local and national artists, thousands of fans, and a beautiful spot on the river with great views. Easy to get to from downtown. Great festival food and lots of beer, wine and cider. Tedeschi Trucks Band and local boy made good Curtis Salgado... More

we walked down to the park on our first day in Portland to get a feel of the area, its a busy park with lots of people around, we were there on the weekend not a lot to do and not that much to see but if youre in Portland as a tourist then the walk is nice

I love Portland and this park was high on our list for a visit last week when we were in the city. It is nice for the locals that they have a place to run and bike and drive some type of cart along the river. But as a visitor I was disappointed because the river front is frankly a... More

I used to live in PDX and loved coming down to waterfront park to relax and also run. Came down midday for a run and was so disappointed. A very run down feel with no real life to it. Disappointing.

It was good to be off the street and walk along the river. Ample benches along the way and the Portland Saturday Market is right there under the bridge.

I biked along the Waterfront park and out it was a pretty cool place! You can enjoy a nice walk, bike ride or just chill in one of the many green areas. The only recommendation is to be aware of your belongings at some parts, since there are quite a few homeless people wandering around. While I want to think... More

We visited after the music festival during 4th of July weekend, so it was perhaps not quite as scenic as other times during the year, but I always love the chance to walk by the water!

If the weather is good, it's a very good place indeed to chill out or walk around. Plenty of activity on the river, views of the bridges that Portland is famous for, and plenty of activities, eateries and bars. Can be very busy on the weekend with the nearby market attraction.

This is the most beautiful place to view Portland waterfront and yet just across the street is Portland downtown. You can watch the ships and boats sail by, have a picnic, nap or read a book on the ample grass. Maybe you want to take the kids and let them play in the fountain...You could slip into the Riverplace for a... More
