While I enjoyed the museum I was disappointed in the small size of the exhibits and the $20 per person entry fee. I'd be curious to see their operating budget and assets on hand to see why they feel the need to charge so much for such a lackluster collection of art. The Warhol exhibit was well displayed but I... A nice art collection with lots of width. Their largest area in in Northwest Coast and Central Oregon native art. In that area it is really excellent. For most other areas that have focused on having one or two rooms set up with really high quality stuff well displayed. As a rule what you are seeing is the top end... More

There was an extensive Andy Warhol exhibit; however the Native American exhibits were very informative and very interesting. They mixed modern naive American art with older art.

Second and equally satisfying return to an important, well curated and "just right" sized museum. Not only is the shifting permanent collection sharp and intelligent but the changing feature exhibits and "Event Shows" can dazzle. There was a literary series throughout the museum and around in stalls and tents the weekend we were there last. Guest readings, specialty food carts,... More

Great place for short term exhibits. PAM gets stuff that even the most famous museums in the US cannot get.

The main exhibit was on Andy Warhol, but I was more impressed with their collection of the children's kimonos, japanese contemporary baskets, and the korean antiques! So rich in symbolisms and stories behind all the artwork. Fascinating!

I enjoy coming here. It always seems to me like a new experience. The exhibitions change regularly, and there is a lot of room for showing and viewing both modern and classical works of art and expression. I have been here many times, and I always enjoy it. December 2015 is the closest date to my most recent visit.
