This place is special. We spent a half-hour walking a few short trails. fantastic. Really impressive. There was one overlook spot that had an excellent view of Mount St. Helens and Mount Ranier. The diversity of species was incredible. Beware of limited parking.

Go on a guided tour -- the guide we had was very knowledgeable. Extensive site, with many trees from around the world, divided into groups and labelled.

Wonderful and a bit wild feeling, walked up from the World Forestry Center through different sections, some more open, some more closed and grown over. Walked through the oak collection and on the far end of it finally found the Notholithocarpus! Three trees, fruiting heavily,...More

If you’re a nature lover, this place is heaven! Hundreds of acres beautiful forested hills, miles and miles of trails and an almost endless variety of tree species. I could get lost in here for days. And I almost did. I recommend a map!

Absolutely gorgeous and fascinating place to visit. The 1-mile loop contains all of the trees we had wanted to see - massive Redwoods, Sequoias, Douglas Firs, etc. No charge to visit and was the most rewarding hour or two of our trip.
