We are in the northwest for the holidays. It was wonderful to see the zoo decked out in Christmas lights after hours. There were a lot to see and even carolers. The train is $5 more. We even got to see the live elephants eating
The Zoo was clean and pretty areas in between exhibits to walk- Currently lots of areas under construction and animals not on exhibit. I have been to smaller city zoos that offered a lot more diversity of animals. Even the insect display had hardly anything...More
We went with some other photography friends and all had a stunning time! It's a great place to bring the kids, ride the train or stroll along at your leisure. Fun photo ops, treats and of course souvenirs. It's a Holiday must!!
Unfortunately half of the exhibits were closed because they are expanding. The lions, tigers, rhinos, elephants, polar bears, painted dogs and more were not available. It was nice to wander around and the zoo itself is beautiful. What animals were available were up close and...More
Very good place to go with your children or alone. A good walk in middle of very well kept animals in an excellent environment. There are now remodelling and adding more things to visit and enjoy. Good store. Good parking. Perhaps they have to add...More
