Tiny park but you feel totally removed from the city

This is a beautifully executed garden. Perfect views at every turn. Spend an hour here and find peace and tranquility. Tea house and gift shop both have nice offerings.

The gardens are incredibly tranquil with such unusual beautiful plants. The staff was so helpful in identifying plants.

Lovely break in the middle of the city. Nestled within this beautifully curated walled garden, is a place for reflection and peace. The on-site tea house is also a must visit. Great tea offerings and snacks.

The garden reminded me of old historical homes of the wealthy Chinese. It was great to sit by the pond when it was quiet but the tea house was not open. The garden was really small, we only spend about 15 minutes inside and we saw everything.

This beautiful, quaint Chinese garden is located right in the middle of downtown Portland, but you wouldn't know it once inside. It also has a lovely little diner with an assortment of teas and cookies. Perhaps a little pricey for the size, but worth doing at least once.

This is a pretty garden but was hard to see much, as there was so many people. Nice stop, though, if out walking.

The guides really know their history about this place. However, you can also enjoy it on your own. I arrived early and it was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful place to meditate or just catch your breath.

We wandered through here to take a break from the rain and from drinking (I'll be honest) and it was wonderful. Very tranquil (would have been more so if a couple of the parents in there calmed their screaming children down) and just what we needed. In the rain it was lovely!

Went during a festival. Dancers, calligraphy and cakes. Fabulous experience and a great way to spend a rainy afternoon
