We have seen several shows here and the only con is that on booking online, the wrong seating map was shown and we were seated in a terrible area. So be careful when booking seats.

This venue is in downtown Portland and maintains its old and classic charm. Went to a concert here on 9/25/18. Some light snacks and drinks available. They will let you take drinks inside but not food which seems on par with other similar establishments. Service...More

We enjoyed the concert hall. The people were helpful and courteous, the rise of seats solid, as well. The sound was also great.

1920's-30's interiors were always "overdone", and this is no exception. What a great tribute to that era.

This concert space is a very nice place to hear a concert or the opera. Parking can be a challenge but there a quite a few parking lots within a few block radius.

I had never seen a rock musician accompanied by a symphony orchestra. It was really good. The acoustics in the venue were amazing and the people who work there were friendly and accommodating.

I saw boys to men with the symphony in this venue. I had what elsewhere would be nosebleed seats, and it felt close and intimate. I am excited when I now see shows I want to see coming to the Schnitz! :)

Every seat is a great seat. Portland should be proud of having a World Class performing arts venue. The sound quality is outstanding.

I have listened to many wonderful concerts at this venue. The Symphony here is very good. The venue is very nice and there are many places to eat after or prior to the concert.

I agree. The seats are not super roomy. An end -of- the row-seat gives more space/flexibility.

Pit seats are great, I’ve seen Anthony Bourdain there and we just saw Nick Offerman both seats were on the first floor area and not in the pit—they were totally fine. The floor has an incline so you still have a good view.
