I usually come for the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival. Has great music for the summer. I have never come for just a picnic or to hang out, but you could. The view of the bridge from underneath is lovely.

Nice and green. The view of St. John's bridge is very pretty. Just the water stinks. Otherwise it's a very good spot for a jog, hangout or some pre wedding photo shoots.

The bridge is so awesome. Underneath the bridge has just an amazing view of the structure. It was a really peaceful area. Had beautiful stone steps to go down into the park.

It's a little rustic, but its cool place to sunbathe and check out the girls and even eat some food on a blanket.
