Great food with Cajun spices! Love going to this restaurant when in town. Being from Louisiana I know this place looks legitimate Southern food. Highly recommend! Clean, neat, great service and reasonable prices!
I say that we loved it, because we went at an off time late afternoon. What can I say, we're from the Midwest and were hungry at 4pm. We had the place to ourselves and just ordered a bit at time. Oysters, of course, fresh...More
We went to Portland to celebrate our daughter's birthday and took her out to eat here. My understanding is that these folks are not from Louisiana. If that is true, it's pretty amazing. They could have fooled me, and I am a good cook from...More

The turtle soup was disgusting. The catfish was terrible and over salted. The gumbo was mediocre at best. Beer comes in a 10 oz glass. Overall a pretty poor experience. Oh, and the server couldn't answer any questions.
