Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I grew up riding my bike on this street and neighborhood. I'm not sure why Tripadvisor would list it in "things to do" so giving you all a heads up that it's basically a nice street in the historic Grant neighborhood.

I had come to Klickitat Street to walk up and down it to see what I could see after I visited Grant Park and took to see the Beverly Clearly sculptures of Henry Higgins, Ramona, and his dog Ribsy.
The houses are very interesting and some are great looking Homes. The Street has bicycle symbols painted in the middle of the road to let you know that there are bicycles on the street. And I did see many riders out enjoying the sun. This street sure looks like an ideal place to take a ride. It is one block south of NE Fremont and runs from Irvine Park around NE 11th Avenue all the way out to NE 72nd Avenue.
I had built up quite a thrist on my long walk East down Klickitat and back that I just had to have a drink. I turned north on NE 44th Avenue and found that NE Fremont Street has a few Pubs and places to eat around this area. Boy, that was a lucky break. And these places are quite nice places as well.
At first I thought that Beaverly Clearly must have lived on Klickitat. I went home and l searched the internet and discovered that she used to live at 3340 NE Handcock Street-- about 3 block south of Grant park where the sculptures are located. The Klickitat Street connection turns out to be where her fictional Character Henry Higgins lived. I had to laugh to think I was looking for a fictional House. No wonder I couldn't find it!
I went back again the next week to take another stroll and to check out another place to drink on NE Fremont Street. It is a nice walk.

The house featured in this landmark was in an episode of Grimm from the first season.
This road passes by many interesting homes with varied landscaping and has speed takes and a bike boulevard from Irving Park all the way to Sandy Blvd it by 72nd. It is a great place for a walk or ride.

Klickitat Street and Grant park statues (a few blocks away) brings back memories of when I read to my 6 year old about Henry Huggins, Beezus and Ramona and their stories centred around this street
