A memorial to the 14 Hot Shots that perished on Storm King Mtn. in Colorado. Very thought provoking and well done with plaques that have a short bio of all the fallen firefighters. The surrounding park is also very nice.
A wonderful park and a beautiful memorial. The statue is moving and there are smaller memorials to specific people with touching stories. Took me a bit to find - the address is NORTH East Elm street. But prineville is small and lovely to wander around...More

Ok full discloser I went to high school with a man that is memorialized here so it means a lot to me. These men and women gave their lives to stop a fire and save our trees that is a high price to pay.
