Worth seeing for sure. But it is a decent hike so pack water and pay attention to trail markings. IIRC, there was a junction or 2 that were not very clear as to direction. Once there you know it was worth the hike.

Very well kept trail with highs and lows to keep it interesting. The pillar at the end is rewarding, and such a sight to see. One of many cool spots in Prineville to see, how amazing the shape of our land really is!

definitely catches you by surprise as you are driving along to see this beautiful sight! the best location for pictures is before you actually get to the viewpoint, as you can pick up all the interesting shapes of the rock!
