We had heard and read great things about the dunes on the Oregon coast and were delightfully surprised at how right they were. We were there in late November so there weren't many others around. As we climbed over the shoreline dunes towards the ocean, the rain stopped, the clouds parted, and the sun broke through. It was chilly and... More

Even if your not ready to take a buggy up there - just the massiveness of this area is worth the stop. Just going there to sit in the sand and reflect on the beauty and the music that the ocean offers. The sunsets are breathtaking and it just gives you a chance to get away from all the hustle,... Rain or shine, there are riders on the dunes. Pick a spot to stop and watch others having fun - and then return with your own vehicle!

The dunes are beautiful and frequently offer spectacular ocean views from the top. They are worth stopping to see.

If your tired of tent camping, try Kelly's RV Rentals. It's very convenient, the RV's are very well cared for, well stocked and set up for the renter.

Beautiful Oregon Coast. Some of the best riding around! Kids, Adults, Extremists. Great for pictures, picnics, hikes, camping. Please ride safely, know your limits. Watch out for others.

Lots of sand dunes to explore and areas for dune buggys and quads. Places to picnic and just relax and enjoy the area.

I have not seen the entire expanse of dunes, but I have entered the Oregon Dunes area near Florence. Dune buggies were all over the place and were tightly controlled as to how and where they could be used - designated and overseen specific areas. The road out to the tip of the south jetty is a nice ride. While... More

The dunes are exceptional for their wild beauty and serenity with the ocean close by. A photographer's dream. Seasonal evens make it fairly crowded and, depending on what you want from them, need some planning.

The day use area has two great observation platforms. We aren't dune buggy people, but wanted to experience the dunes. There were several trails out to the beach. A good place to get a feeling of the expanse of the sand dunes.
