This museum is a wonderful place to see all the history of our wonderful city and county.I have stopped here on several occasions to see what was new and every visit something new is learned, great for children too!

When we started viewing this museum were were very pleased with how professional the exhibits were. We've been to many local museums and this one obviously was not done just be volunteers. Our only wish was that it were larger.

The history of Douglas County is amazing! The artifacts they have saved/collected are wonderful! Kids of all ages will enjoy this!

this is a really cool little Museum lot of Douglas County history loved seeing all the old pictures and the Dillard School on site is super cool to look back in time especially for the kids

Great exhibits demonstrating local history. Educational and entertaining for adults and kids. Nice hands-on, written and panorama portions.

there are a couple but they are in sealed aquarium habitats, no worries. Understand your reluctance as my wife is terrified of snakes also but she was fine with it.
