Bush Park has lots of paths for walking, riding bikes, jogging and lots of place to fly kites, throw balls, have family picnics and just enjoy being in a park. There are restrooms, tennis courts, a soapbox derby track, which roller blading and skateboarding folks...More

The park has just about everything: Willamette University's football field/stadium, the Bush Barn Art Gallery and studio, lovely formal gardens, natural areas and the site of the annual Salem Art Festival--one of the West's best summer festivals. Very close to downtown Salem.

A great place to play, walk, and take the family. We go almost very weekend and during the summer it can be a daily thing. Kids love it

I really loved this park. You could tour the old home on the property, hike on the many trails, or meander among the many flowers. The rose garden was outstanding with a beautiful gazebo for resting or picture taking.

Can you climb the trees

There were no signs stating to stay out of the trees, however, we did not see any kids or adults in the trees and we walked around the part for a few hours, covering much of the area. I suspect it would be discouraged but... More
