Well worth the trip! We were not able to take in the tour but found the building both beautiful and interesting. The staff there were very hospitable and informative.

We had our wedding right outside the capitol on the gazebo. It was a perfect day. I only wish the water fall would of been turned on. The area is kept very clean.

This building is truly inclusive. It's expansive lawn and flower beds complement the clean exterior design. The inside is worth a tour, but call ahead.

I take pics of flowers. There are two rows of cherry trees that line the capital mall that bloom every spring. It is great to get out there and take pics of the capital building with cherry blossoms and the fountain. The doors of the building themselves are carved with scenes special to Oregon. You can take a tour, weather... More

We enjoy visiting Oregon for many reasons and one is their state parks and there is one surrounding capitol building. The building is unique art deco that took us 45 minutes for self guided tour and walking the grounds around building another 30 minutes. Very unique building that is a must visit if you like seats of government. Definitely one... More
