Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We just got back from doing a round of college tours. The staff at this university were very friendly and knowledgeable. With this tour we saw the whole campus including a dorm room. Definitely a small school with about 2,000 undergrad students. Beautiful campus.

This campus, is covered in old growth Trees, and lush lawns. Centered right in the heart of downtown...makes its convenient for students everything within walking distances. Beautiful to stroll and admire the old buildings as well.

I worked in the Springer Memorial garden when I attended graduate school at the University, way way back in the 1990s!! I remember with great fondness the various gardens and the work the staff put in to make it both a learning and beautiful experience. It was nice to pop by a few weeks ago when in town and saw it is still a lovely garden.

I had the pleasure of being toured around the university and it was magical. There was wildlife roaming around, nutria(?), big gopher looking creatures, birds, etc. Truly a gem of place in Salem.

Traditional college with an Ivy League flavor. Fun to walk the campus. Especially when school is in. Have coffee, perhaps lunch. Watch the students. Wander the bookstore and grimace about the cost of books. Old college grads perspective.

I returned to Willamette for my fiftieth class reunion. The camps sparkled and the students, faculty, and admistrstion couldn’t have been friendlier. It came back to me quickly why I chose it in the first place. It’s a magical place to learn and grow as a person. The right values are in place. I had a terrific experience.

We were here about an hour just to take a look around the campus. It was 105 degrees on a late summer afternoon, so most offices were closed and few people were around. What we saw was that the campus was small, intimate and beautiful. We did speak to two students in the admissions office 15 minutes before closing and they were welcoming and enthusiastic about their school. Wish we had time to do the official campus tour to get a better feel, but we liked what we did see.
