The historical markers are worth a visit if you are walking along the prom. Otherwise don't bother, continue on your walk.

Located right off the Prom. Informative signage and the site is well preserved. A Lewis and Clark discovery site.

This is only a 5 minute diversion for most, but what a wonderful opportunity to see firsthand part of the Lewis and Clark expedition. The site seems well maintained and the information plaque was informative. It's worth the stop.

Everyone needs to take a little time to see the great history here. We have been here many times and this was the first time we stopped at the salt works and read the stories. Take the time!!
