Hit this exit for an amazing 250' bungee jump into the 300'+ gorge. It's a spectacular place and a beautiful view. We truly just happened upon it after seeing the bungee sign on the middle bridge from the interstate. Visit oregonbungee.com for info, reservations, etc....More

We were driving from Mt. Hood south to Bend and we did not planned to stop for anything. Fortunately we saw the sign for the rest stop and in the last second we turned in to take a look. We totally did not expected this...More

As highway rest stops go, this is one of the better ones. The Crooked River can be seen hundreds of feet below the walkways and the geologic history of the area is fascinating. Good restrooms and picnic area. Great place to cool off on a...More

More than a rest stop. Sure it only takes a few minutes but that’s the point. Very cool view of the tresses bridge and gorge.

Totally worth a stop. Great views, nice bathroom too. Would have stayed longer if it wasn't 100 degrees.

Views of Crooked River from this vantage point are breathtaking and a great part of Oregon many people miss speeding along 97. May not be as deep as the Grand Canyon, but the rock formations and shape varieties on the canyon walls are much more...More

When you’re zooming along Highway 97 at 65 MPH from Bend to Madras are you going to make the effort to stop for something lame sounding like the “Peter Skene Ogden Scenic Viewpoint”? The first time we came by we certainly didn’t, and weren’t even...More

The best thing about this is the bungee jumping on weekends in the summer and the ability to get really great train pictures against the mountains! Walking across the old bridge looking down at the river is really cool!
