We have been coming here over the last few years for sandwiches as we travel up the Columbia gorge. On a recent visit my wife found a wire bread tie in her sandwich and all the owner could say was "I'm sorry". That doesn't cut...More

I have been taking my grand daughters to this store/restaurant for years. The food is wonderful and when you are done eating, shop around the array of both seasonal and every day merchandise. The highlight for the girls is going into the basement to see...More

Every time we visit there is more and different things to see. Christmas, retro, horses, owls, cooking ornaments for all seasons, candy and great food!

we are locals, this is a favorite stop for ice cream, a soda, or scones for breakfast. The lemon scones inspired me to start making my own mine are very good (theirs are still better)

We stopped here for lunch having passed by Troutdale many times on our way out the Gorge. We never knew this cute little "historic downtown" existed. The General Store serves simple but delicious cafe fare--the smoked chicken salad is delicious. We had milkshakes and they...More

The local bicycle group stopped here for coffee and cake (so it must be good). Lots of tourist trap gifts and the shop smelled of potpourri. I didn't find it interesting. Lots of other places to eat in the town without the smell of potpourri.

The store is packed with so much cute stuff, decorations, gifts, etc. it's hard to pick from. The food was very good and so was the service. Must visit and enjoy a home cooked meal!
