If you love hiking and waterfalls, then add Rickett’s Glen to your bucket list. With over 22 waterfalls, the air is cool on the hottest days of summer. It won’t be secluded, though—there must have been over 200 people on the trails the day we...More

What an awesome place! 21 waterfalls! The falls trail was closed unless you had the proper equipment. We chose Yaktrax for the week over crampons. Very glad we did. It had been warm so there wasn’t very much snow or ice. Just enough to require...More

One of the worthiest places to visit in Pennsylvania. The 3.2mi hike starting at lake Rose lot took us approximately 4-5 hours. Went down Glen Leigh and up Ganoga glen. Few parts were moderately difficult. Pack some snacks!

Rickett's Glen is one of Pennsylvania's very numerous state parks. It is my favorite although I have not visited all of them. Natural beauty and the calming and then challenging presence of water and waterfalls makes this preserved beauty a place you must visit.

There are 21 waterfalls in the Glens natural area where the majority of the falls are located. The hike is about 4.5 miles and has MANY steps, some of which could be slippery if wet. I would suggest parking at the Lake Rose parking lot...More

The waterfalls are visible throughout the entire hike, so if your son gets tired you can always turn around after a 20-30minutes walk if he gets tired.

Not that I am aware of. Adams falls across the road from the bottom end is the easiest to get to. Its a short walk from the parking area but there are stairs.
