All who complain: try running an affordable ski resort for $34/day weekday lift ticket. You can’t have it both ways - affordable and all the service you’re used to at other resorts. Instead of complaining, try being grateful that there is a place where great skiing can be had for all of humanity. Not just for the upper 5-10% who can afford $80+ lift tickets on weekdays. Skiing should be accessible by anyone who wants to try it, and Blue Knob still makes this possible and it is an awesome mountain. If you want faster lifts, more lifts, sushi for lunch, micro-beers, ideal snow conditions 100% of the time, then go elsewhere. The minute some corporation purchases this place, annual passes will go up to $800+/person, and lift ticked unaffordable for the average person. This place rocks. It is what it is - one of the few privately owned, affordable, family-friendly, old-style ski areas around. The steeps are fantastic, and people of all abilities can cruise with joy...

Loved Jack Rabbit trail. I got cocky after a few clean runs and tried Forever Glade trail which goes thru the woods. I quickly found my snowboarding limits. Ended up the slide of shame to exit the Glade without needing the ski patrol:) Only 1 lift open on the Wednesday we visited. Apparently, the mountain needs natural snow for good skiing due to limited sno making, but we lucked out it had snowed quite a bit recently. Stayed in condos. Yes, they are stuck in the 70's (maybe earlier?), but who cares. Fun trip.

We decided to go snow tubing here because it's only a 30 minute drive for us. I tried to book online the day before but didn't see any spots available. I called but twice and got an answering machine. When I finally got through I was told the morning time slot was full but the afternoon was open. We booked for 12:30. When we got there we had no idea where to go. The parking lot is a free for all and there's no signage directing you where to go. When we got to the main building there were signs directing you but some hallways were closed off (due to COVID?). We could see where the restrooms were but couldn't figure out how to get there because the hall was blocked off. We finally figured it out. We also couldn't figure out where the tubing hill was. There were no signs. Both staff members we asked were unhelpful and borderline rude. One said "out there" and the other offered "hard right". The tubing itself was a lot of fun. There were five different lanes open and you could get some good speed going. However, our times slot had a TON of people. Once you got to the bottom it was a 10-15 minute wait to go back up. There were so many people the line stretche across the bottom of the chutes with a line going up the far chute which was closes. People on tubes kept slamming into the line of people waiting. You're going at a pretty good clip and don't have control. Some of the kids in the line were pretty little. It was an accident waiting to happen. At one point we counted 63 people in line at the bottom waiting. When we got to the bottom of the hill after one of our runs two adults were screaming at each other and a young boy around 11 ot 12 was crying. Apparently the young boy slammed into one of the men's families by accident at the bottom of the chute. He picked the young boy up and slammed him into the ground. Then a 14 year old girl came down and slammed into them as well. The man pulled the girl's ski goggles off and screamed in her face. Both children were in different groups and not related to this man. Another man stepped in a started yelling at him to relax. At one point it looked like they were going to brawl and had people holding them back. Eventually they got on the conveyer belt that took you back up to the top. By the time we got to the top the young man's father had showed up ad was screaming at that man that slammed his son to the ground. It was pretty heated with a lot of swear words around children. We went down the hill again to get away from it. The staff was alert to what was going on. However, the man that assaulted these children never left. We did two two more runs and he was still there until our time was up. I was disappointed that he had not been escorted off the property. I felt we were put in an unsafe position at the bottom to begin with due to the lines in front of the chutes. It seemed inevitable that something bad was going to happen. My friend and her family went earlier I the day (the time I was told was sold out) and she said at most there were 30 people in her time group. We counted 75 in ours. It was way too many people to be safe. This place isn't a "resort" it's a rundown shack with unsafe practices. Next time we'll travel to Tussey Mountain or Seven Springs.

I tried to contact them about their menu for their valentines day dinner. I then tried to contact them about our snow tubing tickets. If you email call or use their social media site don’t expect anyone to write you back. I would’ve came but I’m not driving out there the whole entire way to ask you the question the day of in person. So I did leave him a message and I just politely gave them feedback that the communication is lacking on their business.

We went skiing with a group over a holiday weekend in Feb. It's a very affordable area with nice trails and friendly lodge. There was a band playing in the afternoon and a brewery was offering tastings of their beers. Kids had a great time, despite the frigid temps! Good choice for a long ski weekend with the family!
