What a wonderful place for a stroll, bike ride, jog or taking the your four legged family member for a walk. Be sure and wear comfortable shoes and bring your camera to capture the bright Spring flowering trees and Autumns beauty in orange, yellow and red! Use your imagination and enjoy this gem!

Being a local resident I know the best times of day to hit the trail. Weekends are very busy most of the day with bikers dogs, walkers & runners. I prefer to go during school hours (:>)

Bike walk jog horseback....Love this trail. Maybe not so much at the spring mount elevation:) But I try my best not to get off my bike and walk that part. Most of the trail is flat and multiple viewpoints, water side and tree lined trail points make it a great trail. Also multiple jump on points with parking. A favorite... More

Whether you are walking, running, cycling, or horseback riding, you'll enjoy this beautiful trail. In the springtime, there are tons of flowers blooming alongside the trail. In the fall, you smell nothing but autumn leaves. Clear your mind, and head here for some one-on-one with nature.

I discovered this awesome trail a little over a year ago and have road my hybrid bike here at least 20 times since. Very scenic, along the Perkiomen Creek, not heavily used, safe

Live right near it and use it all the time in all types of weather. My kids and I will go walk to trail for a bit, bike ride, or I will run it. It's fairly flat so not big hills. Beautiful in the fall and spring. Nice views of water and woods. Great for families, kids, dogs, and couples.... More

The trail is a great resource. I walk and bike on it. There are great flat stretches or you can hit Spring Mountain for a workout type of walk.

When you are on the perk trail you feel safe, and that is a big deal. A lot of people use the trail but it is not overcrowded. The sights are wonderful and if you are new to trail walking , it is an easy walk.

The Perkiomen Trail is both beautiful and quiet. A great place for a walk, run, or bike ride. You will pass many smiling faces, a great place to take your family and get some outdoor exercise. It stretches for miles along the river and is very scenic. I especially like going over the bridges and stopping to enjoy the view.... More

Beautiful trail that takes you too many sweet spots. Some open field and some shaded and wooded. Either way great for walkers runners and bikers. Bird watching too.
