Artisan Alpacas is off the beaten path, but you will find the owners to be exceptionally friendly and helpful and the visit to be educational. Their small store has top-quality merchandise, but I suspect that you will remember best your encounters with the alpacas themselves....More

I'm so glad we took the time to visit these sweet creatures. They love the attention and you can feed them carrots. The owners are very friendly and they have a gift shop full of items made from Alpaca fur.

There are about 10-11 alpacas. The owners let you feed carrot slivers to the alpacas (through a fence) and are happy to answer your questions. The shop sells socks, sweaters, and other items--reasonably priced and very warm!
