Wonderful little town. Visited Eagles Mere Museum, local bookstore , Car/Air museum & 2 local restaurants. A great B&B too....Eagle Mere Inn. .. A relaxing wonderful place.

Eagles Mere was developed during an economic, resource based boom in the nearby communities-- in the late 19th Century!! The lake shore has been protected due to a prohibition against tree cutting near the shore. The community and its large summer homes has been listed...More

Visited a farmer's market, book store, 3 very interesting museums, and 3 gift shops. Enjoyable day! Eagles Mere museum was full of exhibits, some of them with audible recordings. Cod spend an hour just in the museum. In the museum, miniatures were in one room...More
