When we arrived at the Asbury Woods, the parking lot looked huge. It was fun to enter this wintry forest, a bit like the wintry scene in the Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe. It is quite well maintained. We had no worries about stepping in mud, as there are quite a lot of boardwalks. That was fun! We met... More

Every SJW in town is now bringing their pitbulls to Asbury Woods and they are ruining it for everyone. I have seen three people nearly get attacked by these dogs at Asbury Woods. When are people going to accept that these dogs are ANIMALS with animal instincts? Everythings okay with them until it's not. Asbury Woods really needs to post... More

This is a great, safe suburban park. The museum is very interesting and the woods walk is great. Don't miss the waterfalls which is not officially in the park but accessible by walking up the creek from the creek bridge. Nice place for a picnic too.

Grab a boardwalk stroll if that's what you can handle. Great for baby strollers and new moms. Or walk the trails for a bit more of a walk. Kid friendly or fine alone. One of my favorite spots in mill creek.

Great spot for hiking conveniently located in Millcreek Township. The Greenway Trail is well marked and maintained and wanders down into a very scenic area along Walnut Creek. Walk down to Walnut Creek does involve some steeper paths. A Nature Center is located east of Asbury Rd. with regular activities. Leashed dogs are allowed in the larger area west of... More

Took my dog on a nice fall day and there were tons of photographers. There is a nice mix of board walk, fields, woods, marsh, steams, etc. I felt safe walking there by myself. There is a fun playground and public restrooms. The visitor center has nice gardens and a fun growing roof.

Hiked the Greenway trail. It is well maintained and clearly marked. Trail was fairly easy to walk, though there were some steep parts. We stopped along the creek and waded in the water a bit. If we lived closer to this area, I would probably visit daily for a nice relaxing walk.

At the time we visited, the Asbury Nature Center was decorated for a Halloween evening event. Pumpkins & lighted ghosts were over the grounds. It was nice! Very nice trails woth very scenic views. We took the Greenway trail, we walked the Nature Center grounds, and the short boardwalk loop. Great place to walk/hike!

We walked the boardwalk and the Guided Trail. Very enjoyable. Interesting fungus growing on the ground or on logs. The visitor center was off-limits to non -members for a special honey bee exhibit at the time we were there. Weird.
