A few activities for kids, a short movie in auditorium about history of Lake Erie and it's ecosystem. Bird watching from 2nd floor if you reserve binoculars at front desk. They have a gift shop and cafeteria. Most of exhibits are look and read models.

We only stopped here to eat and use the facilities before heading into PI. We had wanted to eat here since our last visit. And at first we thought the line was too long - you order before heading in and pay. Which, actually worked out ok because then when you are done eating you can leave. My son's chicken... More

We enjoyed our visit to the Tom Ridge Environmental Center after visiting the beach and bike trails. It was cool and refreshing and had lots of interesting displays on the history & geography of the Peninsula. It was a nice quiet place for a tasty inexpensive lunch and it had a great gift shop.

Even though the Trec center itself isn't very large, you can easily spend an hour or more here. It's very cool to learn about the different species and landforms that are there. Also, there is free admission, free parking, and free admission to go atop the TREC tower. It has beautiful views of Waldameer Park and the Lake! But there... More

This Environmental Center has so much to offer. All the exhibits were first class and the means to make this planet more acceptable by all of us were made very clear. Children should (make that MUST) be taken here. The views from the tower were terrific.

Very nice place, it has a lot of information on the wildlife and flowers and such , my favorite part was going to the top of the observation tower and you could see the Lake, You also don't have to pay anything they just have a box for donations.

This place is one of the better "environmental" museums we have been to anywhere. Nice exhibits that explain things well for all ages, a good setting, good architecture, and a great gift shop.

Informative. Wish the tower was higher. We enjoyed learning about the surrounding area. Was a great 1 hour visit. Adults would spend more time without little ones to entertain.
