We frequented McGraths a lot and it was high on our list. Tom and his wife sold the place and it is not the same place. The bar service and atmosphere are missing Tom's constant vigilance.

I stopped by this establishment for a quick lunch on my way to the airport and it did not disappoint. The waitress was friendly, the beer cold, and the fish tacos that we ordered hit the spot. The seasonings were spot on and the portions...More

Walking into McGrath's is almost like time travelling back in time to a simpler era, where corner bars or pubs were plenty and the company was friendly, with a beer lined and smoke filled bar. McGrath's allows smoking in its second floor bar, making it...More

McGrath's has great food and drinks. Watch their specials. The bartenders and waiters make you feel welcome. Prices are reasonable. We are repeat customers. Try their blackend chicken or fish.

Recommended local bar while visiting PA capitol. Beer selection not large but diverse and interesting - served cold and quick. Reuben very good - beat the heck out of recent same sandwich at a "famous" deli in Boston. Nice local crowd.

I have been to McGrath's on a number of occasions, whether for lunch or dinner & I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal there. That says a lot coming from someone like me who's very particular. Here's my complaint & for...More

Was in town for a comedy show, and our local friends insisted we stop at this bar for a few beverages after the show. Specifically they wanted us all to enjoy a "Flaming Dr. Pepper" that consists of a half pint of beer with a...More

Was in town to catch Kenny Wayne Shepherd at the Whitiker Center and had time to relax and grab something to eat and drink before the show, so we picked McGrath's. Whenever we're in Harrisburg we make this a stop. We know the atmosphere and...More
