took a tour of the estate at Christmas time. It is a very old place but is well kept by the historical group in Havertown. worth a visit.

Rich with history and items on permanent loan from France. French décor during the revolutionary war, General Lafayette spent many a days here. A prominent physician, inventor and his family lived at the estate. Many rooms, beautiful and original with adjacent greenhouse and carriage house....More
