We visited the Waterfront with another couple recently. It's convenient to get there from Downtown and the Southside. It's not too big in terms of acreage so walking through it from end to end is within reason. The shopping has a good selection of specialty...More

Stayed at the Hampton Inn (see my review) and enjoyed the whole scene on the Waterfront. There's a huge multiplex theater, lots of stores for everyone, great restaurants (love P.F. Changs) and an altogether great vibe.

Plenty of shops, restaurants and fun places. There is something for the whole family. Dave and busters for the kids and an improv comedy theater for dad and mom.

Pittsburgh was a surprisingly interesting and exciting place to visit. It's eclectic architecture mixes old industrial buildings with modern ones. The art scene is very active and also hosts a variety of restaurants. The Waterfront district had me with the preserved chimneys and the water...More
