Although nature in our area is not lacking this is a great peaceful part of central PA that offers it all. We enjoy the lake all summer long and typically see a Bald Eagle or two every trip. Picnic area, beach, fishing, hiking, any type...More

This is a absolute pure beauty. The views around the lake are spectacular. We just stopped for a short visit, but there is so much more you can do there, especially hiking and walking trails. Also, a very pretty look out point shortly after the...More

This park is a secret gem. Campsites, cabins, yurts and an inn are available for overnight stays. Wildlife abounds. Beautiful lake and gorgeous scenery.

The campsite is amazingly well clean and the roads are perfect. However, despite roaming patrols, they don't enforce any rules, well after dark there was a group of Mexicans having a Rowdy party next to us and the kids across the street from us had...More

BESP is kinda in the middle of no where, but that makes it charming. There's a large ridge of the BE mountain to the south, and a man-made lake in between by a damn to the east. Usual state park activities abound, fishinn' boatin' hikin',...More

Beautiful state park that is well kept and HUGE! We enjoyed camping, hiking, kayaking and fishing. We stayed at the modern campground. This is an all sport large lake that requires more than the trolling motor we had on our small boat. Sycamore loop allows...More

Hi! The people that owned the house before we bought it had kayaks and that's where they would go. They loved it, but I can't personally say. We only live 3 minutes away, so I think it's a beautiful lake!!
