Peacock Lake is located at the really center of Jinghong,but it's just a small pool and the water is not really clean,however you may see the real local people and experience really local life there.

it is always nice to have a lake in a city but that is all that can be said about this one. ok but not very attractive or really worth making an effort to see

This was one of the most beautiful lakes I've ever seen. It is tiny but the peacocks give it a kind of magic,. It looks like a beautiful dream, especially when the peacocks (300 or more individuals) fly from one part of the lake to the other side), and this is organized by the staff several times during the day.... More

There were so many tour groups (we went there by ourselves), each of the group has a guide with a louder speak. Our ears hurts after 20 minutes there!

Situated near the center of Jinghong, it's a nice place to sit and relax in the small shady park on the east side. There are seating areas,food and drinks available from small vendors. Locals come here with their children to use the paddle boats or large inflatables balls to cruise this modest lake. Elders sit and play chess. Early mornings... More
