Spoilt by the huge amount of dog faeces everywhere. Would be great for families if dogs were excluded, but can't recommend because of the health risk.

We stayed at Postern Hill campsite over Easter and loved walks in the forest. Loads of trails to explore, dens to build and miles and miles of off road exploring. Loved it!

A charming old forest with lots of walks and opportunities to get off the beaten track. However a main road runs through the forest and this is very busy with speeding motorist's so beware dog owner's .

Hi, we have just booked a room at the New Inn and have superior double room. We are worried now, that there may be traffic noise, and we really need a good nights sleep as we have something very important to attend the following day. Can anyone confirm that the room we have booked will be away from traffic noise?

Having had no replies to my query, and having had a great night's sleep at the New Inn, I can confirm that there was not a problem with traffic. Lovely place to stay.
