Classic car hire We have many routes for you to follow taking in the sights and scenery around Wiltshire, Somerset and the Cotswolds. From chocolate box villages with honey coloured stone cottages and thatch roofs to the ancient and mystical stones at Stonehenge and Avebury - we'll guide you down some of the most scenic roads the UK has to offer. For National Trust Members or those just interested in our fabulous heritage we have tours covering properties in 5 counties. For Inspector Morse fans we have researched the filming locations used and devised a tour taking in most - all you have to do is decide which of you plays Morse and which Lewis.

I hired the most beautiful Aston Martin DB7 Volante for my husband's 50th birthday and the whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. I can't fault Nikki and Philip's customer service - they really have thought of everything. The whole process went so smoothly. From booking and pickup - the office is spotlessly clean - to collecting our car at the end of the weekend. They provided detailed route maps for recommended tours with restaurants and tourist highlights and I loved that they have even provided essential toiletries in their office bathrooms should you need anything.
It made a special occasion even more memorable for us both and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Many thanks to both of you!

My wife bought me a voucher for my 60th birthday last year but because of Covid we had to delay the experience.
We finally got to book it for mid August and what a great time we had. The paperwork was straight forward and on arrival Nikki & Phillip were so friendly and helpful and were very observant of Covid safety.
We hired the Aston Martin DB7 Volante and what a lovely car. She looked lovely and was such a nice car to drive. We were given lots of hotel recommendations (which we used) and cannot fault the whole experience.
I cannot recommend “Vintage Ckassics” highly enough, it was great. Thank you Nikki & Phillip.

What a fantastic experience. We arrived and were greeted in a very friendly fashion. We went through the paperwork very quickly and discussed in detail a route that proved to be absolutely the best btw it was the Wiltshire tasting route. Then we were introduced to the Austin Healy 3000. The briefing was very thorough, with no stone left unturned. It all took about 30 minutes, however this was time well spent. We then spent the rest of the day with smiles from ear to ear, driving down the fantastic back roads of Wiltshire, and discovering incredible villages. We stopped off in Combes Castle for a quick bite to eat, where the car attracted an immense amount of attention, where someone asked me if I had renovated it….. I told the truth and advised her ,” no someone else had done it……” she didn’t need to know it was only mine for a day…. the car also featured in a young couples wedding photos and they were super excited that it appeared just at the right time. This whole experience was fantastic, made all the better as my wife, who was with me, is now very keen to purchase our own BJ8….

Thanks so much for your review and lovely comments. So happy you had such a brilliant time with the car and enjoyed the taste trail – it does have some great driving roads. The Healey does get many admiring glances and is always a conversation starter.

We have just had a lovely weekend in a convertible Morris Minor driving round the Wiltshire and Berkshire countryside. Nikki and Philip were brilliant. Every aspect of the car hire was meticulously planned. We had videos to watch beforehand and Philip showed us the fine details of the car. Nikki’s route planning and guides were brilliant, thoroughly researched. They have a great selection of cars, can’t wait to do it again, it’ll be hard to choose which one to hire!

Third time at Vintage Classics, this time we chose the Mini Cooper, my wife has always wanted one and she fell in love with it.
As before Nikki and Phil were so helpful and explained all we needed to know.
They have a great selection of suggested routes and places to visit.
I highly recommend Vintage Classics, and will be back for experience number four soon.

Absolutely first class in every respect. I was given a detailed description of all interior/mechanical functions/tips to drive this car easily upon collection along with detailed information on breakdown cover & nearby appointed fuel stations. The WR quattro is an absolute joy. - once in I didn't want to get out ! I could listen to that engine note all day & the stretch of road I found from Devizes out towards Salisbury with those sweeping bends suited the quattro perfectly. Just to see the joy on enthusiasts faces & the respect the quattro commands is an experience in itself. I really cannot commend Vintage Classics highly enough. Ease of booking, being kept up to date with information, their attention to detail & the importance of the customer journey clearly apparent. Bravo ! - I'll be back next year.

I was treated to the Audi Quattro car hire for my 40th birthday, the whole experience was very organised & easy going. We were given very honest advice on where to go (& what to avoid).
We were greeted by a very friendly chap who went through everything we needed to know & made us feel very welcome.

My second time around with Vintage Classics - first in 2008 with my father and second June 2021 to commemorate the first anniversary of his passing. Hired the beautiful 1972 Alfa 2000 GTV which is in incredible condition for its 49 years and was running just as well as it had the first time round. Cars like this really take you back in time to happier simpler times, are huge fun to drive and draw lots of envious looks and conversation from admirers. Owners Phil and Nikki are genuine enthusiasts who'll thoroughly brief you on their cars before you head out and how best to handle them, they also provide lots of ideas for places to go and roads to drive. Very friendly and very understanding when you return their car full of enthusiasm but also regret that you have to hand it back. Thoroughly recommended !
