The small child demanded animals. We've done the other local farm parks, but we hadn't been here (mainly due to the ridiculous restrictions the Local Council put on them last year - 25 days only to open!!) as yet. What a pleasant surprise, it's not as finished or indoor orientated as Roves Farm etc, but it more than makes up... More

Glad you had a fun day out. Taking the goats for a walk is an experience and one not to be forgotten! We do try to focus more on the animal experience rather than the play experience which some other farms seem to focus on but we do have some toys for the younger guests to play with whilst you... Really friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble. This is not a pristine farm but the animals are all in good condition and for a start up fantastic. Very good value .

Glad you had an enjoyable time. This year was the first year we have been able to open fully without restrictions imposed on us by the local Council (previously only able to open 28 days a year). As you can imagine starting up a business is hard work but hopefully over the coming years Farmtastic will become bigger and better... More

What a lovely afternoon we all had, great friendly place and the volunteers were lovely, we held all kind of little animals, the beautiful little kittens stole my heart. There were all kinds of lovely friendly animals to feed who all looked well looked after and happy, hard to say a favourite but i did love the deer, so unusual... More

The kittens are truly adorable, especially the ones with white on their feet and faces - they will be looking for homes shortly and with Christmas around the corner could solve the question of what do I want for Christmas! Hope to see you again soon and you definiately need to go on the tractor ride next time. If you... More

We visited last weekend with my 9 year old daughter and my mother. We received such a warm welcome with everyone being so friendly, approachable and wishing to share animal knowledge and experiences with us all! Within seconds my daughter was bottle feeding calves and sheep then running off to take a goat for a walk. We spent a lovely... More

I think bottle feeding the calves is one of my favorite things at Farmtastic closely followed by "being walked" by Odd Socks the goat, he certainly knows where he wants to go! Hope to see you again soon More

Visited Farmtastic animal farm for the first time today with my two little ones (1 1/2 and 2 1/2 year olds). I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning. You get to hold some of the small animals (hare, bunnies, chicks), you can feed some of the animals, they have an amazing selection of animals to see. It only... More

Thank you for your comments. We try to make it a hands on experience for the little ones and adults if they want! I will pass your comment about the food on to our catering staff - I'm always saying they make lovely chips but to hear it from someone else will mean a great deal to them. Hope to... More

Visited here with some friends and our kids (both toddlers under 2) and had an enjoyable afternoon. It wasn't too easy to find but made it in the end. Entrance price was very reasonable and the entrance area also doubles as a place for small animals like little birds, hamsters, rabbits etc that you can interact with and handle (great... More

Thank you for your comments. This year is the first year we have been able to open fully after being granted planning permission by the council. I visited today with my work team for a day of volunteering. I'd visited previously with my partner and our little boy as a family day out and couldn't wait to go back today. I was not disappointed. I was able to help out with so many of the everyday jobs on the farm and every single one of them... More

A huge thank you to you and your colleagues for volunteering for the day - it means a great deal to Dave & Liz. As you can imagine there are never enough hours in the day to do all the jobs that need doing - as soon as you finish one there are a 100 more jobs to do. We... More

We drove up almost missing the place because my ageing TomTom couldn't get a signal. Getting there with our smartphone, we were almost immediately greeted at the door of the farmhouse, and before I could hit reception the kids were being introduced to the goats! Alex and Emily were two teenage volunteers who couldn't have been more charming and lovely,... More

We were greeted with asking if we wanted to feed the lambs and calves, then straight in to hold the various animals including a hare, rats, rabbits, chicks etc which was lovely. Then on to feeding the beautiful deer they have and numerous other animals, it really was fantastic! The owners couldn't do enough for you, very helpful, friendly and... More

We have visited this farm a few times over the last couple of years, and my children love it, and always ask to come back. It's the only place I know of where the children can get so hands on with all of the animals. The animals are all very friendly and are clearly very well loved and cared for.... More

Thank you for your comment. Glad you enjoyed yourselves. We try to make it as hands on as possible for the children (and adults if they want!). As you can imagine most of the money made at Farmstatic gets taken up feeding, housing and caring for the animals. We do have plans for the future to improve the play area... More
