- Brendan WBirmingham, United Kingdom873 contributionsExcellent Cafe & and a nice walk around the lake.We first had coffee & sandwiches at the newly refurbished visitor centre & were very impressed with how nice it is now. Service was a bit slow as it seems new staff are been trained & I'm sure they will be okay once they are all familiar with everything. We enjoyed our walk around the lake & it was good to have dry footpaths after all the rain in the last couple of weeks.Visited May 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 May 2023
- Julie KBirmingham, United Kingdom10 contributionsLovely sunny day!My sister, Lola the dog and I spent several lovely hours at the park yesterday in the sunshine. It was lovely to see everyone out enjoying the weather. The park was clean and tidy. Lola is a very friendly dog, so made the most of meeting new people, being admired and having lots of fuss. The cafe was understandably busy but the young staff were friendly and polite even under pressure. The cafe offers milk alternatives - I recommend the oat ice lattes. Will definitely be back.Visited May 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 14 May 2023
- Emma M2 contributionsArrow Valley ParkLovely gem of a park with main circular route around the lake, also other paths which are well signposted. Food and loos available at the Countryside Centre, open till 7pm so great for early evening visits too. Sailing club meet there and boats to see, wildlife throughout the year and well maintained. New Lidl by the spacious carpark means you can picnic cheaply too.Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 September 2023
- jennifer18912015Birmingham, United Kingdom13 contributionsBeautiful MorningThis has definitly become one of our favourite places to visit with our dog Scampi. Scampi and I have a lovely walk around the lake and my husband follows on his mobility scooter. It is such a peaceful, beautiful walk. Until today, we had always stopped at the kiosk to get some food and drink, at the end of the walk but today we decided to try the Boathouse cafe. It was clean and tidy and had a lovely atmosphere but we were a bit disappointed with the food choice in the hot counter and cake counter so we had something on the very limited menu. It was only 1pm and the cafe still had 4 1/2 hours to go before it closed so thought the counters would be replenished. It won't stop us visiting again but it does mean if you just want a cake and coffee, you can only visit in the morning.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 14 October 2023

I was looking for something to do and I found arrow valley park and decided to visit this park. Glad I did, it was a beautiful day and so I took a walk around the lake. There is a boat house cafe with toilets on site and a play park for the kiddies.
I enjoyed the walk so much I walked around again. Today there was some run on at the park so I got there early,, glad I did. After a couple of hours I left as the car park was filling up fast.
I would definitely visit there again.

After a lovely walk around the lake … my partner’s first in 9 weeks since breaking her ankle … we stopped for a coffee.
I ordered her a decaffeinated americano.
On the drive home it became obvious that she had not had a decaffeinated coffee.
She is now lying on the bed with a bad headache, flashing when she closes her eyes and a stomach ache.

If I walk there, I walk through a footpath at the very bottom of Easemore Road, beginning Dolphin Road, and bear right over the footbridge and keep walking until the signposts start, takes about 15 mins. can also be approached via Arrow Road, taking the road off to the left that goes between the factories, the Arrow Valley Park is at the bottom of here, some people also go the bottom of Beoley Road, cross the bridge at the bottom and continue for a short walk the Park is right ahead of you.
