The Academy Theatre is an excellent entertainment facility, officially opened on the 18th February 2004, this purpose built entertainment centre houses 172 tiered seats and offers the surrounding area a varied program of top-class entertainment both amateur and professional. The Theatre is also used as a performace platform for members of Take 2 Performing Arts Academy.

Lovely little theatre. Has a mix of children's performances and professional shows. Also has theatre, dance and music lessons, which the kids attend. I've seen a few shows here. Reasonably priced around £10/£12 a ticket for professional shows. Has a very nice cafe/bar, not inflated...More

This beautiful theatre is the perfect place for a lovely evening out, top class acts and wonderful musicals. The prices are excellent. Great food for ladies who lunch with very helpful staff.
