What a beach. From harbour to P&R, non stop sand, sea and sunshine (weather permitting). Why go abroad when we have this in England. Travelled the whole length (albeit on the Land Train). Perfect beach.
Wow, how disappointing. Decided to go for the day whilst staying a few miles up the road. Haven’t been since I was little so was looking forward to it. What a complete disappointment. Nowt there. Very grim. I realise it’s the end of the season...More
Miles of golden sands - I don't know what the sea temperature is like though! The Council have made a real effort in tidying up and revamping the promenade, and it leads to the harbour which is quite interesting.
A beautiful beach - if only we had the weather to go with it!
We were lucky. On our visit, the sun was shining. Although it was very busy, the beach is so big that we were never too near to the other visitors.
We have just returned home from a 4 night stay in the resort 4th-8th Sept. After unpacking we went straight out for a walk up this end of the beach then spent another couple of days using the local amenities' and a few hours on...More
Even on an overcast day the beach was well attended, with families & couples alike, buliding sandcastles, paddling, playing volleyball, or just people watching like ourselves Its a clean beach thats patrolled by lifeguards, there are changing facilities & toilets nearby as well as food...More

Lovely beach with sprawling sands, theres a lovely promenade to walk along with plenty of facilities such as toilets and places to get a drink. Theres a lovely paddling / boating pool for the children as well.
As a disabled person. I can highly recommend a visit to Bridlington, especially South Beach. This is a a long promenade, with wonderful views. There are historical facts written into the pavement, which you are best reading as you set off. And not like me...More

Yes. Anything close to the beach will be pay & display only. Many of the residential streets have permit parking (check if residents only) but may only offer short stay. Otherwise, there are residential streets not too far from the town centre/beach which are free and unlimited. The earlier or later in the day you can arrive, the more likely you are to find a preferred spot. The town can get busy with cars and pedestrians so watch how you go and have a safe trip.
