    Really enjoyed this experience.
We went today (12th Feb 2023) we only had a short time in the park, but we did the Meerkat experience. We all loved this - Chloe who lead the experience was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. My 9 year old enjoyed every minute. We have never seen a raccoon dog before either!! I had a couple of issues with booking and changing dates but these were sorted out really quickly with no problems. The park staff were helpful and clearly enjoy their work.

Nice little attraction improving all the time
Nice small animal park. Staff very pleasant. An ideal place if you have a couple of hours to kill. Animals look well cared for and happy. Our daughter especially liked the parrots. It is clear that it is still a work in progress, with new areas and enclosures being added. I last visited in 2012 and it is now much larger with new areas. The new areas still need a lot of tidying up, but it is a big project. It’s also the first animal attraction I have been to where you can enter a meerkat enclosure and pet the meerkats and porcupines. Also you can enter an emu enclosure, which is unusual. Certainly seemed very popular with the kids. Only negatives are that the paths are often muddy and some grass paths are not passable, especially with a wheelchair. It would help to have a surface added to these. The only toilets appear to be Tardis-style portaloos. There is no cafe on site, but you can buy a coffee to takeaway and there is a small shop. It is also hard to find when you arrive on site with the entrance almost hidden behind a bargain store. This is one to watch as it develops further and I recommend giving it a try and supporting this small attraction.

    Good value for your money
Cheap enough for what it is, we spent about 1 1/2 hours but if you had kids could stretch this out. Few different animals on site. Little gift shop. Option to feed some animals and also activities at scheduled times. Worth a visit if your passing.

Park fine but poor animal experience
Admittedly our visits were actually in 2021. First visit great, kids loved it. Loved it so much we booked an owl experience for our animal mad son. Very disappointed by this. The keeper was quite rude in his conversation with my son, almost crushing him when he tried to talk about what he knew about the birds (and yes admittedly as a child he wasn't 100% correct on everything). There was an adult couple doing the experience with us at the same time and the dialogue and engagement was very different with them and more communication and time holding the birds was offered to them. I was quite surprised by this at our previous visit I found his communication with people positive. My son was quite down about his experience, as he'd been so looking forward to it. Shame because I really enjoyed our first visit.
2021 Really ? Really ? This review must have took some thinking about

    Disappointing
After reading reviews we thought we would pay a visit. The park is situated on a camp site. We paid our entrance which we found reasonable. The park is quite shabby and dated. Lovely animals but small enclosures, some of the animals seemed bored and were pacing or snapping at others in the enclosure. The park is grubby and a-bit smelly. We saw one keeper and she seems quite inexperienced eg: treating the arctic foxes like you would a pet at home. We spent an hour here and saw al the animals , we won’t return.
Thank you for your kind review. The park is in natural surroundings, no 'small' enclosures as they all confirm to standards and exceed them. Our animals are not bored, however we have excellent degree standard animal trainers and i will see if i can get them to teach the animals jazz hands for your need visit, oh hang on you wont return, shame !

    Needs some TLC
Not a bad animal park but not the best I’ve been to. It was extremely busy but it was summer holidays. I felt some of animal enclosures were small especially the owls and falcon. We paid for bags of food but were not told what we could feed and couldn’t feed. Signs everywhere saying pls do not feed. Toilets are a massive issue. Only one in main reception which was a queue for and was very smelly due to baby nappy bin overflowing. The rest are 4 portaloos which were dirty smelly and not equipped with toilet roll. No cafe within the park but one next door but be prepared to paid £7 for a panini or toastie. Very overpriced
Thank you for your kind review. All animal and bird enclosures confirm with current and future standards, our owls and falcons fly free daily. Everyone is given a list of what you can feed, I can only assume you didnt read it ! The nappy bin is never overflowing however someone may have put a smelly nappy on, not in the bin, we provide portaloos only in the summer holidays, as you said it was very busy. Again thankyou for your review

Animal park was ok but quite a few big issues.
Animal park was ok I guess a few animals where there but toilets and a few other issues we encountered on our trip to Bridlington animal park. 1. Was the toilets the toilets were absolutely horrific and awful no toilet roll and disgusting and smelt awful and was just absolutely disgusting to be 100% honest. 2. It was in the most random place it was placed in the back of some caravan park and there was parking but absolutely no spaces and needed so many more spaces for what there where. 3. We brought some animal food but on all of the enclosures it stated no feeding the animals so what is the point of animal food just sounds like a money making scheme to me. They didn’t have there own cafe but the caravan park did so not to much of an issue food was adequate but expensive.
Thank you for your review, I would like to respond on the 3 points you have made. 1. Looks like the person using the toilets before you must have done a big smelly poo and used all of the toilet roll. They could have left you a sheet ! 2. Car park with 'absolutely no spaces' and yet you managed to find one and visit the animal park. 3. Everyone is given a list of animals they can feed, if you couldn't read yours this may explain how you managed to read signs that weren't there. Thank you for these points and I hope you come and see us again.

I cannot get over how amazing this experience was!!!!!!! My wife bought me the Meerkat Experience as a birthday present because they are my favourite animal in the world!!! We were met by extremely friendly and welcoming staff members. We had arrived slightly early from when our experience was scheduled however our visit included entrance to the park. We were able to see the majority of the animals as they were happy to be active in the open enclosures despite the chill. We eventually met our keeper at the Meerkat enclosure where we entered the warm hut housing them; my wife and I having the experience all to ourselves (no one else had booked). Food being a trigger for their excitement, they were happy for us to feed them by hand; interacting and climbing all over us without issue. Once all the melon was gone, we spent the remainder of our time petting and snuggling all 8 of them. HEAVEN!!! The keeper was a superstar with our questions and she truly enjoyed her job! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Found out they are able to be kept as pets sooooo who knows what next years birthday presents bring HA!!! *Apologies for the delay in review*

This is by far the most amazing place I have been in a very very long time and mean just outstanding the animals are fantastic and the welfare provided for them it is just beautiful. The meerkat experience is great value for money not to mention the wonderful people that work there, you can tell they all really have a passion and have a lot of respect for the animals and just wow though this place. So if you feel the need to have a well deserved brake and still have a great time then go here and experience the wonders of the animal world. Not to mention the amazing bird display.

If anyone asks for a refund they get one. Surely you can’t review NOT going to the park ! Us like everyone else are fighting with the elements at the moment and have never known rain like it, zoos local and countrywide are working hard to keep their animals and customers safe. A little compassion wouldn’t go amiss !

We found this place a couple of years ago when we last time we visited the East coast and couldn't wait to go back this time when we returned.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed both our visits here, the bird show alone is worth the entrance fee and how you feel part of the show is great.
How close you can get and interact and feed the animals is great highly recommended.

Had a lovely trip here and enjoyed the flying show from the birds. It was very informative and the staff member running It was clearly knowledgeable and passionate about the birds especially the Raven 🐦‍⬛ Take cash for vending machines.
If it's a sunny day there's a cafe outside and a play park. We went on a cool day after the rain had poured and wish we had wellies or boots but it didn't make the experience bad.
Feeding the animals was a highlight and stroking the skunks.

I would put a large sign pointing in the direction of the doors as when we pulled up to what looks like a caravan site and pound stretchers we may have drove off of I hadn't of pre booked the tickets online as it was confusing as to where the entrance was initially

Thanks again to all involved

Really enjoy visiting the animal park. The staff are great and really care about the animals. We received lots of interesting facts about camels from a friendly young man who works there. The bird display was brilliant well presented, informative and amusing. Well done staff .
I would also recommend the meerkat experience I did the last time.
