Took our 7 year old (2nd time horse riding) and our 4 year (1st time) here while on holiday. They both loved it. My husband and I walked beside them, mainly to ensure our 4 year old managed ok.

We took our two grandchildren aged 7 and 5 for their first experience of riding. They weren't disappointed. They loved it so much they went a second time. There was a lovely working atmosphere at the stables. There is a pony club and the girls were all enjoying looking after the ponies; mucking out, feeding and grooming the horses. It is very much a family owned business and the owners have created a very special place.

My Visit wasn't to appreciate any one of the 30 horses but finally after 2yrs a space had risen for me to enable me to have my caravan stay on there as long as I wished plus being in artist painter David Hockey and his landscape world. Yes should you be lucky sometimes a pitch for your van along with 12 others be there surrounded by wildlife, woods and nature away from the hustle and bustle of the town of Bridlington and you can still hear the sea. It's a good idea when a small piece of land can be used for the Caravan owners to be able to stay and nearby you can walk the wold.......and then those lovely horses also within hear shot. Why go to Spain or America when our country can deliver.

Had a thoroughly enjoyable 1 hour trek along the old roman road and into some woods. Staff all very friendly and really looked after everyone. The horses were great, well looked after and all seemed to have a very good tempermant, especially with beginners. Will definitely go again.

My partner Barbara and I spent a fab afternoon at Woldgate! Barbara has never ridden a horse and it's been a long time since I've done so! The staff soon put us at ease and the horses were fab and patient! Brilliant! Give it a try!
