The greatest game, the worst stadium.

I’ve been a debenture holder at Twickenham for over 15 years and it would take a surgical operation to prize my tickets off me. Saturday’s game against Wales encompassed everything that is good and bad about international rugby at Twickenham. A glorious game. However, queues for drinks were awful and there ought to be an Olympic medal for anyone who can use the toilets and buy a drink at half time without missing a large chunk of the game. It’s impossible. Lots of fans missed the brilliant Welsh try after half time. The toilets in particular are a disgrace. We can live with ‘deep end or shallow end’ but the queues to get in and out are at best hugely frustrating and at worse downright dangerous. Someone will get hurt. An in and out system should be introduced where there are two entrances. Once one has survived the Battle of Thermopylae to get into the toilets...the urinals are often empty. And as for the cretin who designed toilets with only one entrance/exit...well, a ‘special place in hell’ waits for them. Poor legroom, uncomfortable seats...so what.....we’ll all be back for the next one at the Worlds Worst International Stadium!

Great and impressive. True English atmosphere and folklore. Great to have beers after match and walk by the river

Polishing a turd

This stadium is showing its age and is not up to modern standards. Signage inside is poor and the general condition looks rundown.
Seating inside however was better than expected and spacious by comparison to other venues.

The home of England rugby.

My favorite sports ground, fantastic atmosphere, good selection of bars and food venues. General friendly vibe. Unlike other stadiums you can walk round to see friends in other areas.

Went to see England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 versus Ireland. Great match and was also impressed with how professional the staff were in keeping things moving and quick service at the bar.

England v Ireland if you pay for a seat - why not sit in it?
Feb 2020
Amazed at the number of people who kept getting up and down during the match to go and collect drinks and visit the toilet. It spoilt the enjoyment of the game to have to keep getting up to let people squeeze past often at key moments in the game.. Why don’t stewards prevent this happening. I would rather sit at home and watch undisturbed and would also have saved a heap of money. Won’t go again.

Fantastic. What a venue. We usually leave a few minutes before the end of the match to avoid the crazy crush!!

Great tour of the Stadium
Nov 2019
We toured the stadium and were blown away by the experience. There was information about the pitch and stadium management, really interesting. Then the history and memorabilia. The new gates that incorporate remembrance Poppies made from WW1 German Shell casings, the Last England team to play France in 1914 and the casualties of war and the pitch side memorial to Ronnie Poulton killed in Belgium. The teams dressing room and the facilities. It was a fascinating tour and seeing the Royal box and where Eddie Jones sits on Game day just made it special. Best thing we have done in years.
