What a magical, fantastic place. Spooky, intriguing and a must see. This was on my list for years and when I knew I would be in the area I couldn't skip it. I will be back, hopefully for their candlelit nights.

One of the finest collections of Witchcraft related curiosities and ephemera anywhere in the world. A truly unique museum that no visit to Boscastle would be complete without.

We visited Cornwall in October of last year, sorry its taken a while to review, I wasn't going to but after seeing some of the reviews I thought I'd like to add my two cents. We visited Boscastle with the intention of exploring the museum and am so glad we did, from the moment we stepped in we were welcomed and treated with respect and genuine friendliness. My little girl had a wonderful time seeking out all the "little doors" and missed the items she was meant to as they were located in cabinets higher than the average childs site lines. To be honest these things are explainable anyway should she have caught sight of them. She was mesmerised by the entire experience and so were we. To feel at home looking into the face of a preserved skull and feel something of her still present was quite the moment, to explain, to our daughters shock, the persecution of witches and natural healers was another eye opener and well worthwhile considering its still ongoing in some areas. We took our time looking into all the display cases and drawers, spending time contemplating the images and items we were seeing and can safely say it took over an hour and left us just enough time to try the local ice cream. After the visit we were fortunate enough to encounter further Boscastle goodwill with a couple offering funds for the public toilet after we ran out of change and I cant help but think that this was to do with our visit to the museum. I would happily make the trip again and again if we were closer but will make sure we return on our next overseas trip. The lovely staff member at admissions deserves a mention and big thank you, I wish I knew her name to give it properly. Thanks again and look forward to future visits.…

I went there 30 years ago in 1990, & was checking to see if it was still there, to direct friends to. It has some amazing historical artefacts.
