This 3.6 mile moderate walk follows part of the South West Coast Path from Boscastle along the cliffs bordering the ancient fields of Forrabury, before heading inland through Minster Wood, and then along the Valency Valley. In 2004 these steep-sided valleys funnelled 440 million gallons of water through Boscastle village in 5 hours, causing devastating flooding.

This is a really lovely stretch of the South West coast path, with interesting geological features and pltny of places to eat in Boscastle village. If you can get hold of a Heligan Honey beer, all the better!

We did a quick walk south on the coastal path - very scenic and easy going compared to neighbouring towns. The view of Boscastle itself is the highlight and is a beautiful place to stop. Very sad seeing the pictures of the flooding - even...More

We called in to this little village on route to somewhere else - and spent all afternoon there. Wandering down the estary to the harbour with the dog, and then venturing up the cliff path to the top for the view. And what a view!!...More

We walked up to the watch tower for the sunset but preferred the view between the rocks. Its not a really strenuous walk but would be problematic for people with mobility issues.

Fantastic views and paths bordered by beautiful wild flowers. Great views of numerous headlands, rocky cliffs and hidden bays. Only about 5 miles or so making it perfect for an afternoon stroll. The section from Boscastle to Rocky Valley is not as demanding as the...More

A fantastic little place. Beautiful cottages & stunning scenery. Large car park behind the small supermarket called Cobweb car park. Just opposite is the fantastic Boscastle pottery. Quirky cups, vases, gifts all with black watery tree designs - very affordable & a cheery potter to...More

We had a sunny day but the views are lovely with azure blue sea and emerald green cliffs. You can see why dragons are popular in Cornwall as the rock formations add to the myths
