Gwithian Towans Beach is ideal because it is varied, there are miles of golden sand, good shelter and great places to explore along the dunes. We visited in October and luckily it was a warm sunny day but because the weather was good there were issues finding somewhere to park but no different from other popular beaches in Cornwall. Apart from the parking issues Gwithian Beach is a perfect place to visit but probably best to visit off-peak when there are fewer people around and more parking spaces available.

Great beach walk, 6 miles. Enjoyed watching the waves and surfers. Also linked to coastal path, a perfect place to enjoy fresh air.

we decided to go to Gwithian beach and was delightfully surprised at how long the beach. Lovely inlet of water for children to play in, great for surfers. There is a training surfing school and 2 impressive cafes. We loved this beautiful long beach.

Lots of high waves, lots of surfers, Pebbly beach but not uncomfortable. Refreshments, food & ices available. Also toilets. Very busy at times and parking can be a problem.
