The best beach in the country?
Magic.....Cliffs, caves,,Rock pools for swimming when tide goes out. Watch for the tide coming in though...its rapid. Clotted cream and scones, REAL CORNISH PASTIES from the cafe on the top of the hill. Stunning.

    Stunning and safe beach
Beautiful stunning beach. It’s so big that it’s impossible to feel overcrowded. Has all the amenities - cafe by main car park (plentiful spaces), toilets along the path to the beach and the jam pot cafe up at the top of the sand dunes (delicious homemade cakes and scones). Lifeguards were so vigilant and “on it”. We had a fab and safe time bodyboarding. We enjoyed our first day there so much we went back the day after seeing the weather was fab. We have been to Cornwall four times now and this beach ranks up there in my top three. Go if you are in the area.

    Dog walkers paradise
Well what can you say that’s negative about this place, first of all you must check tide times to get maximum out of the beach, get there early for parking and you will have the day to wander. Explore the rock pools, walk a the golden sands for miles. We had dogs and could keep them out of the sea, plenty of exercise and plenty of space for all people to walk, a great local cafe and surfing school for those that way out. Best of British

    Stunning views
We come here often as it's the best long stretch of beach, 3 miles in length backed by fantastic Dunes. The waves really roll in along here and can often be quite dramatic! Plenty of places to park and plenty of lovely places to get a drink and food.

    One of the best!
Love coming here as its close to home and offers up a great walk as the beach in total is 3 miles each way. Even in the Summer you can escape the crowds if you walk to the middle area of the beach. Great views across to the light House and the other way to St Ives.

We visited the beach with 3 older teens and it was just great. The beach wasn’t too busy and the sand was beautifully clean. The cafe was great and the sea was just right for beginner/intermediate surfing. Beautiful!
